Gonadorelin acetate is the acetate form of a hypothalamic peptide that
stimulates the release of follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinising hormone from the pituitary gland. It contains not less than 95.0per cent and not more than the equivalent of 102.0 per cent of the peptide C55H75N17O13, calculated with reference to the anhydrous, acetic acid-free substance.
